Mastering The Breath
Dan Brulé’s core programme: how to breathe, what breathwork actually is, and which protocol suits which moment.
If you buy one of these, buy this one. It is the foundation, the other three assume it, and it is the closest thing there is to Dan Brulé’s practitioner training in a form you can keep.
What is actually in it
Six modules and thirty-five sub-modules, 120+ video lessons, 45+ guided audio exercises, 25+ animated exercises, and 42+ diagrams. Lifetime access, free updates, a certificate of completion, and a 60-day refund.
- Introduction to the Breath — what breathing does to the nervous system, and why
- How to Breathe — mechanics, carbon dioxide, the myths worth dropping
- Understanding Breathwork — the traditions and what each is for
- Breathwork Protocols — which method, for whom, when
- Breath Mastery — designing a practice rather than following one
- Implementation & Integration — making it survive contact with an ordinary week
Why this one and not a cheaper video
Module four is the reason. Almost every breathing resource teaches a pattern; this spends a whole module on choosing between patterns, which is the only part that transfers to a real person in front of you having a real reaction.
Much of the footage comes from a six-month practitioner training that people paid $2,500 to attend. That is what you are buying a recording of.
What it is not
The certificate is a certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification, and it does not license you to treat anyone. The programme is in English, self-paced, with nobody checking whether you finished.
And the sales page around it promises things this site does not — see the note on his page before you read any of it as medical advice.
