Your Information: Access, Correction & Deletion

How to see, correct or delete the information held about you.

You have the right to know what information is held about you, to correct it, and to ask for it to be deleted.

These rights are set out in Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.

Right to see

You may ask what personal information is held about you, what it consists of and why it was collected. I will respond within 30 days, and may ask for basic identity confirmation first to protect your own data.

Right to correct

If information is wrong, inaccurate or out of date, you may ask for it to be corrected. If I decline, I will give the reason in writing and you may challenge it.

Right to deletion

You may ask for your information to be deleted, except where there is a legal obligation to keep it or it is needed to defend a claim. In that case I will explain what is kept and why.

Unsubscribing

Every mailing has an unsubscribe link. You can also just ask, and it will be done immediately.

How to make a request

Email nitzansalomon1@gmail.com, stating the type of request, the details you used on the site, and — for a correction — what the right information is.

Timescales

Acknowledgement within a few working days, a full answer within 30 days, and unsubscribes immediately. There is no charge.

If a request is refused

You will receive the reason in writing. If you disagree, you may approach the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice, or the courts.
