Accessibility Statement

Everyone should be able to reach information and services independently and with dignity — this site included.

This site was built with accessibility in mind, following Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations, 5773-2013 and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.

What has been done

• Semantic structure — correct heading hierarchy, labelled navigation, alternative text on images.
• Full keyboard navigation — every link, button and form field is reachable by keyboard, with a clear focus indicator.
• Skip link at the start of each page, straight to the main content.
• Colour contrast — every text and background combination has been measured and meets at least 4.5:1.
• Resizable text — enlarging to 200% does not break the layout.
• Screen reader support — ARIA attributes where they are needed.
• Full bidirectional support — Hebrew right-to-left and English left-to-right.
• Respects system preferences — if you have set reduce motion, animations and background video do not play.
• Works at every screen size, with enlarged touch targets.

Known limitations

I would rather state these plainly than claim full accessibility:

• Embedded third-party content — YouTube or Vimeo players and any third-party forms depend on those services and are not fully under my control.
• An interactive illustration on the site is marked decorative; everything it conveys also appears as text.
• Audio — as recordings are added, transcripts will follow.
• The site has not had an external accessibility audit. The work was done by the site builder against the standard, not certified by a qualified accessibility consultant.
