Holistic Health Practitioner — Becoming Shaman

An eight-week journey through holistic health, meditation, herbal medicine, energy, intuition and spiritual practice.

Most courses teach one thing well. This one deliberately does not.

The Holistic Health Practitioner programme from Blossom Spring moves through meditation, energy frameworks, herbal medicine, nutrition, intuitive development, hypnosis, regression and ceremony across eight weeks. That breadth is the whole proposition, and it is also the reason it will not suit everyone.

It sits in Field Picks because it attempts something I recognise: refusing to reduce a person to whichever system the practitioner happens to know.

What the Eight Weeks Cover

The provider’s published syllabus runs:

  • Claim your power — agency and responsibility before anything else
  • Meditation and alignment — attention as a trainable skill
  • Anatomy of the spirit — auras, chakras, energetic perception
  • Herbal medicine and natural healing — herbs, nutrition, lifestyle
  • Gifts of the spirit — intuition, mediumship, sensitivity
  • Hypnosis and past-life regression
  • Shamanic Healing Energy™ — the provider’s own named framework
  • Spirit Quest — ceremony, integration, close

Note the shape of it: it opens with how you are living your own life, and closes with what you intend to do with what you found. The techniques sit in between rather than at the centre.

How It Runs

This is the self-paced version: the full eight-module programme, worked through on your own schedule rather than to a fixed timetable. It is currently discounted.

The provider also runs a live cohort of the same material at a considerably higher price, which is the version carrying their certification. If a certificate is the point for you, ask them about it directly. If the learning is the point, this is the sensible route.

Why It Is Here

Field Picks is not a catalogue. Something needs a reason to be on it.

This one earns its place because it puts herbs next to meditation and hypnosis next to ceremony without pretending they are the same kind of thing. That interdisciplinary instinct is close to how I work — different tools, different maps, one person in front of you.

It is also the tradition my own holistic-health studies came through, which is why I can say something first-hand rather than summarising a sales page.

What I Would Not Take Literally

The course uses terms that belong to different categories, and it is worth separating them before you enroll rather than afterwards.

  • Medical intuition is not medical diagnosis. The module teaches a perceptual practice, not a clinical skill.
  • Chakras and auras are models, not anatomical structures. Useful as a language; not a replacement for anatomy.
  • Epigenetics is a real field and it does not mean thought alone controls biology.
  • “Quantum” here is a label, not a mechanism — the same caution I apply to my own QHHT page.

None of this makes the material worthless. It makes it honest. In my experience the work gets more interesting, not less, once you stop needing it to be more than it is.

About the Credential

The provider describes the award using the word “Master’s”. This is a private certificate from a holistic academy. It is not an academic master’s degree, not a medical qualification and not a licence to practise anything.

The provider states accreditation by the International Association of Therapists (IAOTH). Before enrolling, check with them directly: the exact certificate awarded today, current accreditation status, whether it is recognised for the use you have in mind, and what your own country requires for insurance and practice.

I would ask those questions of any private training, including the ones I have taken.

Who It May Suit

  • People entering holistic health who want exposure before specialising
  • Coaches, energy workers and meditation teachers broadening their frame
  • Anyone drawn to intuition and consciousness alongside practical wellbeing
  • People taking it for their own development rather than to see clients

Who Should Look Elsewhere

  • Anyone needing an academically recognised or licensed qualification
  • Anyone wanting clinical hypnotherapy or psychotherapy training
  • Anyone wanting professional herbalism as the sole focus — the Master Herbalist programme is the better fit
  • Anyone who wants a strictly secular, evidence-only curriculum

Knowing what something is not is most of choosing well.

The Question Worth Asking

Not “will this make me a healer” — no eight weeks does that.

Better: do I want to spend two months examining how I actually understand healing, intuition and my own part in helping anyone?

If that is a yes, it may be worth your time.

Common Questions

Is this a medical qualification?

No. It is a private holistic-health certificate. It is not a medical degree, not a licence, and should not be presented as either.

Why does the provider call it a Master’s?

That is their wording for their own award. It is not an academic master’s degree, and I would not describe it as one.

Do I need experience to start?

Not according to the provider. The breadth may actually suit a beginner better than a specialist.

Is it mostly herbalism?

No — herbs are one of eight weeks. If herbalism is what you want, a dedicated programme will serve you better.

Does it really include mediumship and regression?

Yes, both are named in the syllabus. If that language does not suit you, this is the wrong course and it is better to know now.

Can I use the certificate professionally?

That depends entirely on your country, your insurer and your intended scope. Verify before enrolling, not after.

Do you earn anything if I sign up?

No. There is no commission arrangement with this provider. It is here on editorial judgement alone, and if that changes this page will say so.

Is Quantum Healing Field running the course?

No. Enrolment, teaching and certification are entirely the provider’s. This page is my independent write-up.

An editorial recommendation, not medical or professional advice. Herbs and supplements can interact with medication and medical conditions. Verify any credential’s status and local recognition with the provider before enrolling.
